The renowned French pianist Jean-Philippe Collard takes on an extraordinary work from the 19th-century piano repertoire: the piano suite Pictures at an Exhibition, composed by Modest Mussorgsky between 2 and 22 June 1874 to translate into music several of the works exhibited by his friend, the artist Victor Hartmann.
