One of the most intimate pieces in J.S. Bach’s musical output, the one that perpetuates and revives the historical references of the role assigned to the Choir. Six pages in which experimental approaches and original solutions, typical of Bach, are found, developed and transformed. The interpretative style adopted by Diego Fasolis, director of the Swiss Radio Television Choir and the I Barocchisti ensemble, highlights them in all their monumentality, whether in the intimate moments marked by the search for dialogue with the Absolute, or in the sparkling blend of voices rising to the praise of the divine.
