Dan Brokes is a man who loves the outdoors and taking risks. He married into the business of his father-in-law, J.L. Higgins, but as the years went by, the humdrum life of a clerk became more and more difficult for him. One day Dan decides to give up everything – his job, his house, his wife Margaret and his children – to live in the country and raise horses.
