The day, from dawn to dusk, of a cameraman who films mainly scenes of everyday life in the streets of Moscow and who proves to be particularly daring in his search for sensational shots, above, below or beside moving trains.
The film opens with a wide shot of an empty cinema which fills up in an instant. This same room is seen again at the end of the film, after a sequence during which the camera has begun to move on its own on a tripod, without an operator, before seeing the façade of the Bolshoi shatter thanks to an optical effect.
